Refund Policy

Version 00.09 · updated 2026-09-18

1. Who we are

PitchPlan is operated by Daniel Dadashev, a registered sole trader, business no. 303485171, of Haplada 23, Ashkelon, Israel. Contact: support@pitch-plan.com.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as merchant of record for every purchase. Paddle is what appears on your bank statement, Paddle issues your invoice, and Paddle processes every refund we submit.

2. You can cancel at any time

We impose no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to contact us: cancellation is a button inside your account, under Billing. If that button is unavailable for any reason, a written notice to support@pitch-plan.com is enough, and we treat it as effective from the date you sent it, not the date we got to it.

3. What happens when you cancel

Your subscription ends immediately, and we refund the part of the current billing period you have not used. You do not have to ask for the refund separately; it is part of the cancellation.

4. How the refund is calculated

We refund in proportion to the time remaining, counted in whole days from the day your cancellation reaches us to the end of the period you paid for:

refund = amount paid × (days remaining ÷ days in the period)

Three things follow, and each is in your favour:

  • The calculation uses the price you actually paid, including any discount. We do not recalculate at list price to claw a discount back.

  • It is based on time, not usage. Whether you used PitchPlan every day or never opened it makes no difference.

  • Payment processing fees are not deducted. We absorb them.

If you are holding unused credit on your account, meaning money you already paid for service you will now never receive, for example after a plan change, that comes back too, and it is shown as a separate line so you can see where the figure came from.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency you were charged, and include any tax you paid. Where a day is partly used, we round in your favour. If your bank converted the charge into another currency, the rate on the day of the refund is set by your bank, not by us.

5. An example

You paid $15 for the month on 1 January and cancel on 11 January. 20 days remain of 31, so you receive $9.68. No fee is deducted, and nothing is recalculated at full price.

6. Changing plan mid-period

Moving to a more or less expensive plan is not a cancellation. Paddle calculates the difference on the same time-remaining principle, and you are charged or credited the difference only. Your subscription continues, and if you later cancel, the refund is calculated from what you actually paid for the period you are in.

7. Gift periods

If you are inside a period you received as a gift, a reward for inviting someone for example, you paid nothing for it, so we have nothing to refund. Cancelling simply ends it.

This covers a period you were given for inviting someone and a period you were given by a promotion link, which work the same way. A gifted period is not a subscription. It does not renew, no payment method is attached to it and nothing is charged when it ends: it runs to the date shown on your billing page and your plan then returns to free. Clause 8 is about subscriptions and does not apply to it.

Gifts you have earned but not yet used are a benefit and not money: they offset future payments down to zero at most, are never converted to cash, and lapse if the account is closed. None of this ever reduces a refund you are owed for something you actually paid. The two are kept entirely apart.

8. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically. You can turn renewal off at any time from your billing page: you keep everything you paid for until the period ends, and you are simply not charged again.

9. When the money arrives

We submit the refund to Paddle the moment you cancel. Our part is immediate and automatic. Paddle normally processes it within a few days, and your bank may take several more to show it; those timings are theirs, not ours, and we do not control them.

Should a technical fault prevent the automatic submission, we will complete the refund manually and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation, as European Union and United Kingdom law require. A delay never changes the amount you are owed. If 14 days pass without the money reaching you, write to support@pitch-plan.com and we will chase it.

10. Your confirmation

You receive an email confirming the cancellation, the date it took effect and the amount refunded, with the calculation shown. Keep it: it is your record. That email is sent from an address that does not accept replies; write to support@pitch-plan.com instead.

11. Withdrawing from the contract

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of concluding it, under Article 9 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and, in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not need a reason.

You can exercise it electronically, from inside your account:

  1. Go to Billing and use Cancel subscription (withdraw from contract).

  2. The next screen shows you exactly what you will be refunded and what happens to your work. Confirm there.

  3. We send you an acknowledgement by email, which is your durable record.

That is the withdrawal function required by Article 11a of Directive 2011/83/EU, inserted by Directive (EU) 2023/2673 and applicable from 19 June 2026. It is on your billing page for as long as you hold a subscription, so it is there throughout the withdrawal period; it is labelled in the words above so that there is nothing to work out; and the screen that follows it is the confirmation step, after which the acknowledgement in paragraph 3 is sent. Using it takes effect when you submit it, even if something on our side then goes wrong.

You may also withdraw by writing to support@pitch-plan.com in any clear terms. You do not have to use our wording or our form.

If you asked us to start straight away, you pay only for the time you actually had the service, on the same pro-rata calculation as clause 4. If we did not obtain that request from you properly, you pay nothing and receive a full refund.

12. Your statutory rights, which this policy does not replace

This policy is more generous than the law requires. Nothing in it limits any right you have, including:

  • European Union and United Kingdom: the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts under Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK's Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as clause 11 describes. In the United Kingdom the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies as well, and its requirement that a digital service be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described is not affected by anything in this policy.

  • Israel: rights under the Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981, including the extended cancellation period for people with disabilities, people aged 65 and over, and new immigrants. We do not charge the cancellation fee that law would allow us to charge.

  • United States: rights under applicable state law, including automatic renewal and consumer protection statutes.

  • Everywhere: your rights where a service is faulty or not as described. These survive cancellation and this policy does not time-limit them.

13. The free plan

The free plan costs nothing, so we have nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time, and you can delete your account from Settings.

14. Invitation rewards

If you subscribed through an invitation within 120 hours of starting to register, the person who invited you received a free month. If you subscribed later than that, they received nothing, and nothing below applies to you. If you cancel within your first month, that reward is withdrawn, because it was given for a subscription that did not hold. This affects their account, never yours: your refund is not reduced by it.

15. After you cancel, what happens to your work

Your plan reverts to free. Planning on the website is a paid feature, because it uses data traffic that costs us money every time it runs, so you can no longer open or edit projects on the site. The Android application shows advertisements again on the free plan, as clause 4 of the Terms of Use sets out.

Your work is yours, and you have 30 days to take it.

  • Your cloud projects stay on our servers for 30 days from the day you cancel, and you can download a full copy of any of them, free of charge, at any point in that window, with or without the application.

  • To keep working on a project, open it in the application: it downloads to your device and is local from then on.

  • We email you when the window opens, and again 7 days before it closes.

  • After 30 days, cloud copies are deleted from our servers. The deletion runs once a night, so it happens on the first nightly pass after your 30 days are up - never before them. Anything you downloaded, or opened in the application, is on your device and stays there. We have no way to remove it and no wish to.

  • If you subscribe again inside the 30 days, everything is simply there again, untouched.

  • You may also delete your cloud copies yourself at any time, from the same screen, once you have your download.

If you published products or showrooms to the community, publishing is part of the Suppliers plan, so it stops when that plan does. Showrooms come down from the community the same day. Products are moved back to your private shelf: nothing is deleted, the community simply stops seeing them, and one press republishes each of them if you subscribe again. Your catalogue then has its own 30 days, on the same clock and with the same reminder as your projects, after which the products and the files behind them are deleted.

If you were sharing a project with others, the project freezes with the rest of your cloud projects: nobody can change it any more, including you. The people you shared it with keep reading it, and downloading what they are entitled to, for the same 30 days, and it is deleted for them when it is deleted for you. Nobody new can be invited to it while it is frozen. If you would rather they lost access at once, remove them yourself, which you can do at any moment from the project's sharing screen.

Being invited to someone else's project remains possible on the free plan, with whatever role its owner grants you. That project counts against the owner's plan, not yours.

The pricing page shows these limits before you buy. If you subscribe again later, the earlier refund has no effect on the new subscription. We do not give discretionary refunds for periods already refunded or already ended.

16. Repeated cancellations

We may decline to offer paid subscriptions to an account showing a documented pattern of subscribing and immediately cancelling. A person reviews that, it is never applied automatically, and it is never triggered by a single cancellation, which is always your right. It never affects a refund you are owed.

17. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of cancelling, Paddle handles the dispute and we may suspend the account while it runs. Cancelling is faster and gets you the same money.

18. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force when you paid is the one that applies to that payment; every version is archived and its number is shown at the top of this page.

19. Complaints

Write to us first at support@pitch-plan.com. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact the consumer authority in your country. For consumers in the European Union: the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so complaints go to your national consumer body or to the European Consumer Centre in your country.

20. Governing law

Israeli law governs this policy. That does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
